Scene fashion is one element that brings people to the Scene scene. The clothes worn are much more colorful than the Emo equivalent. A standard theme is the wearing of tight t-shirts, alongside tight pants. The tight t-shirts will normally consist of cartoon characters, band tees and may also be vintage items. Scene fashion is also distinguishable by an attempt to be extremely fashionable, with a more obvious care taken about appearance in general.
Accessories are important to Scene fashion as well. Large sunglasses are a normal accessory, as are white belts, fingerless gloves and wristbands. Going into the summer of 2008 it is likely that there will be further increase in the visibility of Scene fashion.

So I have scene hair in a way but I really want mine to look like the girls in the second pic. I just can’t seem to ever understand how to do that. Any suggestions?
Comb it normally and then back comb it
Well, Yeah…I would comb it….then tease hairspray to keep it there. u know.
Tease it O.o
ok so after u wash ur hair put some mouse in at the roots and just like mess with ur hair sum then blow dry with a diffuser tip (i blow dry my hair upside down) then like hair spray it when its almost dry while ur still blow drying it then u can straighten it some if your hair gets a lil wavy like mine and tease ur hair after wards using a small comb get peices of ur hair and brush vigorously up and down
hope that helps =)
heey there ;D
alright first of all, i’m not good at english at all, so don’t tease me xD
if you get it cut in.. æhm.. i don’t know the word for it, so i’ll try to explain it. it’s kinda like levels ? that’s the only word there could explain it just a little bit xD
again - i’m sorry for my bad english :I
but then you take a hairspray and a.. argh.. it’s not a brush, it’s a.. well.. i don’t know the word - it’s a little brush ? xD
and they you like.. æhm.. tourpe ? it xD
I understand if you don’t understand a shit of what i’m saying.
But you can also go on youtube and search for something like : Scene hair, or something. There is alot of videos with people making that hair. <3
tease it a ton, and use hair spray. also apply heat and honld your head up side down. hahaha sounds silly but it works.
search youtube for video instructions(a lot have been making tutorials on scene hair) so you would understand more what theses people are saying…^^
you can get i razord and stuff to get it to go like that….

but i use a A LOT of hairspray, then wax.
put the wax on the palm of my hand, get the hair in between theem and sort-of backcomb it with your hands!
and try doing what Rach said, and blow dry it upside-down
apparently it makes your hair all poofy!
??!!
I love the scene style <3*
This is a perfect fashion style ^.^

look it’s easy if ur hair is wet then dry it then brush ur hair till it’s down…incase ur hair is thick it’s okay it will be even better… when everything is straight.. then take a roller (kinda brush—ish round..ish) then brush the top–ish of ur head upside down…
iights? hope that help y’out! xD
thats probly the most clear explanation. I have scene hair and its kind easy to fix once u get the hang of it!!
xo-Scene Love-xo
To get it like that, you should cut it up in… layers? x] , eeh, i know my english sucks big time btw :]
And then you should tease the upper layers a lot, and then use a lots of hairspray. It works for me
If you want youre hair to ..have a stronger hold or something, dont use a conditioner (?) when you’re washing it.
Once again, sorry for my english D:
Ok so what you do is:
1. Get your hair cut is short layers that get longer as they go down
2. After your hair is dry and combed out normally take a comb [they work better then brushes] and back comb your layers starting from the bottom layers to the top. After you back comb a layer use lots of hairspray on the section you just did! And keep doing it till you’ve done all your hair!
3. After the back combing and hairspray use your fingers to fluff your hair more [if you want more poof]
A really good brand of hairspray to get is: Sebastion its pretty cheap and holds extreamly well! Its sold in 2 stores that I know of: target, and longs.
I found your site on faves.com bookmarking site.. I like it ..gave it a fave for you..ill be checking back later
if i razor my hair it will probably damage it… and my hair is poofy , yes i know if i straighten my hair and thin it then it will be ok but i dont know if i get this or try gt this syle again.. i dont want to look like rubish . again. hahaha will this work?
Yeah I had use to dress scene for a while. Idk i guess i just grew out of it. Very cool style though, type of fashion that stands out most others but still can make u look good. Lol the hair was hardest… took alot to take care of it using iron with so many hair products and trying to keep the lenghts cut to a desired way. I recommend dying hair a darker color due to the fact that its easier to make ur hair appear more shiny
u dont want it looking messy or very frizzy, But thats my opinion of course depends on style as well. I used hair straightening gel first and sum anti frizz product to keep hair from getting poofy, then blow dry to lock in products to mesh in with my hair good, then combed hair to keep it straight and take out any split ends, and finished off with sum gloss spray and hair spray to keep it in.
Uhmmm. in the second pic she has alot of layers…choppy layers. then…. maybe use volume shampoo, and no conditioner, it weighs your hair down so you cant get as much volume if you use conditioner. when your hair is wet put mousssse and blowdry upsude down in sections for a bit more volume. when its almost dry use a little bit of hairspray and keep blow drying it. when its dry TEASE TEASE TEASE!!!! alot! start with the bottom layers, but not the very bottom, the bottom of the top, if that makes sense? spray the roots then tease then spray more. use Beh Head or Big Sexy Hair or RAVE hairspray, those are the best :] then work your ways up in the laters, tease alot!! then when you get to the top and you think your done, take all of it and spray and tease and spray. but leave a little hair at the top for the choppyness. spray the choppy parts that stick out and then straighten them UPWARDS and then make them go down a bit. when your done and you have it how you want, sprayyyyyy.
hope that helps :]
